[FreecycleComa] OFFER: frozen meals

4 dinners I froze in plastic bags. individually packaged. somewhat used. frozen.

flavors are:

1. Salmon with Pepper Coulis (not real salmon)

2. Yellow Rice with Chicken Chunks and Chicken Chorizo and Chicken Bones

3. Chicken stew (not recognizable as chicken)

4. Tofu Curry Stew

No “use by” date because I made them about a year ago.

I find them bland and no one else in the house likes them either. Hopefully someone else can use these.

Please take all.

Please indicate pickup time as these should remain frozen, so PPU isn’t an option. MUST STAY FROZEN. When defrosted they have a strange smell.

[FreecycleComa] Taken: 24 foot coaxial cable

This cable was taken by a man named Dave. Dave has brown hair, is 6 ft tall and is married but childless. He will not use this cable to tie up anything or anyone. He will probably use it for his VCR so that he can spend the weekend watching ‘The Godfather’ over and over again but worry about those “pesky commercials”. There were other emails more interesting than Dave’s but they were talking about using the cable to tie up small animals or significant others which is not this cable’s intended purpose.

[FreecycleComa] Taken: Cough drops

A man named John who has chronic COPD took all packages of cough drops. He was having trouble breathing as he made the trek to my house and said the cough drops helped him walk back down the hill. He is about 80 years old and walks with a cane. I was surprised that there weren’t more freecyclers emailing to take these cough drops as they are perfectly fine just expired.

[FreecycleComa] OFFER: 24 foot coaxial cable

For all of your coaxial cabling needs.  Clean and looks good, but I don’t have any device that needs a coaxial cable so I didn’t test it. If it doesn’t work you can use it as a cord for tying things down.

In case of multiple interested Freecyclers, let me know why you need a coaxial cable more than anyone else and what you might do with it.

[FreecycleComa] OFFER: Cough drops

Two larger packages and two smaller packages of Ludens, Halls, and Ricola cough drops, all unopened. 

Someone gave them to me when I had a bad cold, which was nice, but I don’t use cough drops, and my cold is long gone.

Note that one package has expiration date of July 1st (although I am sure that cough drops will last well past their expiration date).  The other packages expired in December 2008.

In case of multiple interested Freecyclers, let me know why you would enjoy these delicious cough drops.  Super bonus points if you can cough via email.

[FreecycleComa] WANTED: Bib overalls

I have to dress up like Bob the Builder tomorrow. Does anybody have a pair of bib overalls, preferably but not necessarily denim, that would fit a plus sized woman? Anything between sizes 18 – 25 could work.

[FreecycleComa] WANTED: tape transcription machine‏

Seeking a standard-sized-tape transcription machine (from the old days) with a foot pedal. Anyone have one gathering dust? I am not a doctor. Just like to transcribe. Nothing elaborate. See below for example.

If you need a cordless phone, this is for you.  We used it happily for many years until our children just surprised us with a new, small, up-to-date cordless version and its extension.

This phone works fine. It’s made by Uniden and is in the EXP 7900 series. The telephone section is about 7 inches long. Its base is about 8 ½ inches long.  There is a cable for the telephone jack and a cable to plug into the wall for electric power.  We also have the owner’s manual. Both base and telephone are beige. It could be mounted on a wall or used on a flat surface.

Nothing specific. Need an entire piece that is brown with other flecks of color. Need you to come and cut it to fit. If you have some granite lying around would love for you to SHARE IT!

Willing to pick it up but will need you to cut it to the size of our current formica counter.

This is the kind of counter we would like. Looking for something that is free with more brown than this one. Our space is much bigger. Please have your own materials to install.
